Nonprofit organizations are the heart of our communities.  Their work continues amid significant challenges, including limited resources, shifting operational demands, and widespread burnout. The lingering impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic remain deeply felt, with many nonprofits still navigating staffing shortages and striving to maintain financial stability, according to the Center for Effective Philanthropy’s State of Nonprofits report.

Victory Cup Initiative is committed to meeting these challenges head-on by developing and delivering impactful programs that strengthen the nonprofit sector in Winter Park and across the broader Central Florida region .Thanks to the generous support of the Elinor & T.W. Miller, Jr. Foundation, Victory Cup successfully launched its first-ever nonprofit leadership conference:

Lead with Heart. Build with Intention.

This dynamic, half-day gathering brought together over 100 nonprofit leaders and community champions from 70 organizations across Central Florida—including 10 based in Winter Park. The conference was thoughtfully designed to reignite compassion and purpose among those who serve tirelessly, and to equip them with the tools and inspiration needed to continue their vital missions.

The impact was deeply felt by participants, as one attendee from Community Legal Services (a 2024 VCI Finalist) shared, “What a refreshing way to keep your alumni equipped, motivated, and inspired to advance their respective missions for the good of us all in this community… it was my honor and a blessing!”
