In April of 2019, The Center for Health & Wellbeing opened its doors to the Winter Park community.  The 80,000 square-foot center is a partnership between Winter Park Health Foundation and AdventHealth.  The center offers services that cover every aspect of health and wellness.  Amenities include an updated fitness center, indoor walking track, exercise pool, group fitness room, medical offices, a nutrition theater, a child care center, healthy café and a community conference room.

A gift from The Elinor & T.W. Miller, Jr. Foundation supported the development of the community conference room.  The conference center will host educational programs addressing seven dimensions of wellbeing to help all community residents, not just members, improve their overall health and live as fully as possible. Two large adjoining meeting rooms can be combined to accommodate up to 250 attendees for an event.

“The Conference Center is a beautiful, inviting space where individuals and families experience learning in a variety of ways.  In this venue, community members have begun participating in educational lectures and hands-on activity classes with films, discussion groups, and other special events.  Countless people, now and in the future, will benefit from the Elinor & T.W. Miller, Jr. Foundation’s generous gift, “says Dana Silvey, VP of Programming for Center for Health & Wellbeing.
